CareerFest is an event sponsored by CAMEO at Virginia Tech. The revenues generated from the event are used to provide scholarships to minority engineering students who are active members in the Virginia Tech Chapters of the Association for Women in Computing (AWC), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). CAMEO also hosts career development and social activities for the minority engineering organizations.

CareerFest is the only career fair held during the Spring semester especially for engineering students.

Registration will be available online. Each organization must submit a registration form online. Your registration is complete when a payment has been accepted.

Late Registration Fee: $xxx.00 per booth *
Deadline: xxxxx, 5:00 PM EST

*Additional fees may apply if you are paying by credit card.

All checks should be payable to CAMEO at Virginia Tech.

Checks made out to Treasurer of Virginia Tech or Virginia Tech will not be accepted. Any check submitted that is payable to an entity other than CAMEO at Virginia Tech will not complete registration. CAMEO will not reserve a booth until payment is received.

Refund Policy
All companies who complete registration before xxxxx, 11:59 PM EST are eligible for a refund under the following circumstance. The company must contact CAMEO via email (cameo@vt.edu) and request a refund before the regular registration deadline.

If you do not contact CAMEO prior to the regular registration deadline you will not be eligible for a refund.

The Late Registration Fee is non-refundable.

Note: Registration is not complete until payment is received.

3. One 110 - volt electrical outlet
4. Continental breakfast for two representatives
5. Catered box lunch for two representatives

You will receive a confirmation email immediately after registration. If you do not receive an email within 15 minutes of registering please contact CAMEO us.

Interview rooms will be reserved for the day following CareerFest, Friday, February 20, 2009. Rooms are available on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS.

CAMEO will reserve interview rooms in the Career Services building for CareerFest attendees.

To reserve a room not in the Career Services Building, email cameo@vt.edu and submit a request.

Interview room reservation is subject to availability.
